Transform Bottles & Broken China Into Wearable Treasures!

Learn how to use a Soldering Iron and work with Soft Solder in our unique Bead Retreat!  Join Catherine and the Dry Gulch Gals in this fun class!

We'll be playing with perfume bottles and broken china to create one-of-a-kind pendants that are ready to assemble into gorgeous necklaces.

Students will learn how to use a soldering iron to solder, work with copper foil tape, play with soft solder dots and more.

Catherine has been working with soft solder and teaching soldering classes for over 10 years and can't wait to show you all of the tips and tricks when working with this incredible technique.

Friday (10am-5pm)

Give Broken China a new lease on life by turning it into a wearable pendant by adding solder dots and brass filigrees!

Saturday (10am-5pm)

Play with solder to transform a humble perfume bottle into a gorgeous soldered work of art, then use collage techniques to add even more sparkle!

~ Retreat Details ~

• Dates: Friday & Saturday October 2nd & 3rd, 2026 - 10am-5pm Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday

• Pricing: Pricing is $250 per person which includes meals, classes and kits.  Pricing does NOT include hotel, car rental or other travel expenses.  A deposit of $100 is required to hold your spot.

• Venue:  Our venue accepts 20 adventurous beaders.  Please sign up and secure your spot as spaces fill up fast!  We also have a Waitlist available.

• Dry Gulch Address: We are located in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks in Anderson, MO.  We will send the exact address to our warehouse in a private text message to our Retreat Students - please call us at 417-628-2828 so we can exchange text numbers.

• Details: No smoking or alcohol allowed.  Water, tea and coffee always at hand.  Our warehouse is NOT wheel-chair accessible at this time.

• Tools: Please feel free to bring your own jewelry tools and beading lights!  We do have extra tools on hand to use and to purchase, and we will provide tools for all students for the classes.

• Travel Accommodations: Nearby (40 mins south from Dry Gulch Beads & Jewelry): XNA National Airport in Bentonville, AR is the best flight option.  We do not recommend any hotels in the Anderson, MO area at this time, however there are several hotel options in Neosho, MO (30 mins north of us) or in Bentonville, Arkansas (35 mins south of us).  There are also several AirBnB options in the surrounding cities of Jane, MO, Bella Vista, AR and Neosho, MO.
