All Chained Up Necklace

Materials: 
• 3-4' Feet of Rosary Chain
• Teardrop shaped stones
• Accent stones
• Eyepins
• Ballpins
• Jumprings
• Lobster Claw Clasp
• Knobby Ring

Tools Needed: 
• Chain Nose Pliers
• Round Nose Pliers
• Wire Cutters

 

This fabulous necklce features sparkling crystal rosary chain accented with semi precious stones.  Create your own version of this necklace by adding different stones or crystals.

Step 1:
Start by creating the stone links.  String larger accent stones onto eyepins and create loops at the top of each bead using round nose pliers.  Cut away the excess wire using wire cutters.  Set these links aside to add to the necklace later.

 

Step 2:
Next, create the chain necklace by attaching one end of 24" inches of rosary chain to a knobby ring link using jump rings and chain nose pliers.  Also attach the lobster claw clasp to the other end of the chain.  This lobster claw will hook onto the knobby ring.

 

Step 3:
Now attach the accent stone links to the rosary chain using chain nose pliers.  Next, cut 2 pieces of rosary chain to attach to the knobby ring so that they hang down as a long tassel.  Experiment with the length of these tassels to your liking.

 

Step 4:
Finally, attach teardrop stone beads to the bottoms of the tassels.  Using ballpins to make a charm, and then chain nose pliers to attach to the rosary chain.  Make sure all jumprings are securely closed with chain nose pliers.  Voilà!  Your finished All Chained Up necklace!
