Copper Agate Earrings

Materials: 

• 10mm Round Dzi Agate beads

• Molten Metal Mix Links

• Decorative Beadcaps

• Nail Headpins

• Jumprings
 
• Copper Earwires
Tools Needed: 

• Chain Nose Pliers

• Round Nose Pliers

• Wire Cutters

 

• Our Copper Agate earbobs are so boho and perfect for wearing out every day! 

• We chose green Dzi Agate for our example because of its rustic finish.

• Try sparkling crystal onions with shiny copper beadcaps for a more modern look.

Step 1: 
String 1 green bead and 1 beadcap onto a nail headpin.  Then, using roundnose pliers, create a round loop at the top of the beadcap.

Tip: Skip Step 2 by creating an eyepin loop instead of a wrapped loop.

Step 2: 
Finish the round loop with a couple of wraps using chain nose pliers to create a wrapped loop.  Trim the excess wire with wire cutters.

Step 3: 
Using chain nose pliers, open and attach the bead drop to the Molten Lava Copper Ring.  Using another jumpring, also attach an earwire.  Repeat these 3 steps for the 2nd earring.  Voilà!  Your finished Copper Agate earbobs!

Tip: Use chain nose pliers to gently squeeze the wrapped loops into a more upright shape.
