We have had these beads in the Dry Gulch vault and they have been a mystery for many years. After testing with a 365nm UV LED torch, we have discovered that they glow with a white light, and also exhibit a faint green afterglow that dissipates quickly (pics included). It is possible these are a low grade version of Root Beer Fluorite as museum specimens of this stone are almost translucent brown, while our beads are milky brown with a purple-ish tone.
These Fluorite beads are vintage stock from our warehouse and are at least 10-20 years old. We cannot get these again, so once they're gone, they're gone for good!

Each bead varies in size, shape and color no two beads are exactly alike. Because these are natural stone beads, each one has its own character including crackling, inclusions, chips, etc...
