These pendants have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These pendants are made of an antique silver plated zinc metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted, though there could be a little residue from the painting process. These pendants have been gently distressed for an old world chipped look and then sealed with glossy resin. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These pendants are the perfect size. They are approximately 56x47mm, or 2-1/4" inches tall by 2" inches wide. There is a 4mm loop at the top of the hat for a jump ring. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
