These components have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted items can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These components are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy that is lead and cadmium free, and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two items are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted. These link have been gently distressed for an old world effect and then sealed with a clear glossy varnish. The sealant protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These findings are a standard size, they are approximately 1" inch, or 25mm across by 22mm tall. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the item is. The loops have an inner diameter of 1mm. All photos have been taken outdoors using sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile monitors display colors differently.
