Mutton Jade, (also called White Jade or Mutton Fat Jade) and can be found in countries like Canada, China and Russia. It is usually the Nephrite jade type and is a lovely stone featuring soft, milky creams and whites with hints of grey and butter yellow. Mutton Jade beads are created either with natural jade rough, or lower grades of Nephrite that has been formed, cut, polished and then heat treated and/or dyed. It's a gorgeous stone that can be used in many jewelry designs, craft projects, fine jewelry creations and more.
These stone beads are vintage stock from our warehouse and are at least 10 years old. We cannot get these again, so once they're gone, they're gone for good!
