These components have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted findings can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These components are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two components are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted and is the base metal color, there could be a little paint residue from the patina process. These components have been gently distressed for an old world look and then sealed with our signature glossy varnish. The glossy sealer protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These starfish charms are small in size, they are approximately 26mm tall by 23mm tall. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the charms are. The loop is 1mm. All photos have been taken outdoors using sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile monitors display colors differently.
