These mer~mazing Seahorse pendants have a nautical life all their own! These Seahorse cuties have been colored with aqua, pink and turquoise patinas for an Atlantis look. These components have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted findings can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These pendants are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pieces are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted and is the base metal color, though there may be a little paint residue. These seahorses have been distressed for a vintage paint-chipped look then sealed with a clear glossy resin. The glossy sealer protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These are a standard pendant size. They are approximately 59mm tall by 34mm wide. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. The loop is 4mm. All photos have been taken outdoors using sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile monitors display colors differently.
