These pendants have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These pendants are made of an antique gold plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted and is the base metal color, there could be a little paint residue from the patina process. These pendants have been gently distressed for an old world look and then sealed with our signature glossy resin. The glossy sealer protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These starfish pendants are medium in size, they are approximately 44mm wide by 50mm tall. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. The loop is 2mm. This pendant comes mounted on a paper card. All photos have been taken outdoors using sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile monitors display colors differently.
