These components have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted findings and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These flowers are made of an antique brass plated base metal and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two flowers are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has also been painted. These flowers have been gently distressed for an old world effect and then sealed with a clear glossy resin. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These flowers are a great standard size. They are approximately 30mm across and 8mm thick. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is. All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
