Our painted and collaged Steampunk Owl pendants are simply "owlsome"! We hand paint each owl before collaging an eclectic menagerie of fabulous sparkling glitter in the center. We've gently distressed our glitter owls for a vintage look and then sealed them for longevity. We use clear resin as a sealer so that our pendant will last for years to come. Our owls would look lovely on a plain chain, but you can also bead around them for a truly one of a kind design. This listing is for 1 Pendant.
These pendants have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These owls are made of an antique brass plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted though there could be a little residue from the painting and sealing process. These pendants have an assortment of glitters and sparkles on them for a unique look. These pendants have been gently distressed for a vintage look and sealed with glossy resin. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These steampunk owl pendants are a standard pendant size, they are approximately 2-1/8" inches long by 1-3/8" inches wide. The loop is 3mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the pendant is.
