These charms have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These charm are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. These pendants also feature pearly shimmers for extra pizazz. The back side has not been painted, though there may be a little residue from the painting process. These pendants have been gently distressed for a vintage look and then sealed with glossy varnish. The resin protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These charms are small in size, they are approximately 26mm long by 22mm wide. There is a 1.5mm loop at the top. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the charm is. All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
