These charms have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These charms are made of plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two charms are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted, though there may be a little paint residue. These pendants have been gently distressed for an old world effect and then sealed with a clear glossy sealant. The sealant protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These shabby cage charms are a tiny size. They are approximately 28mm long by 14mm wide. The loop diameter is 1mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the charms are. All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
