These findings have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio.
These wings are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pendants are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted, though there may be a little patina from the painting process. These charms have been gently distressed for an old world chipped effect and then sealed with glossy varnish. The varnish protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These shabby angel wing charms are approximately 29mm long by 24mm wide. The loop is 2.5mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the charm is. All photos have been taken outdoors with sun light, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
