These pieces have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These beads are made of an antique brass plated base metal alloy and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pieces are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has also been painted. These charms have been distressed for an old world look and then sealed with glossy varnish. The varnish protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These pieces are standard in size, they are approximately 28mm long by 20mm wide. There is a 1mm hole for stringing. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the piece is. All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
