Our Art Deco heart charms are perfect for rustic and romantic jewelry designs. The gorgeous antique style of these hearts feature filigree work around the edges topped with a unique Art Deco style crown. We hand paint each and every one with metal-specific paints and patinas. These charms are high quality and have some weight to them, but they may work in earring projects. This listing is for 2 charms.
These components have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pieces can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These charms are made of an antique silver plated base metal alloy that is lead and cadmium free, and have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two components are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted. These charms have been gently distressed for an old world effect and then sealed with a clear glossy varnish. The glossy sealer protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
These heart charms are a medium size, they are approximately 1-1/2" inches long by 3/8" of an inch wide, or 40x24mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the charm is. The hole on top is .9mm. All photos have been taken outdoors using sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile monitors display colors differently.
