Opalite is a relatively new stone that was introduced by China during the 1980s. This beautiful milky blue white material actually isn't a stone at all, but rather glass! Opalite is also known by many other names, including Sea Opal, Opal Quartz, Opal Moonstone and Argenon but again, it is simply man-made glass.
