Opalite is a relatively new stone that was introduced in China during the 1980s. This beautiful milky blue pink material actually isn't a stone at all, but rather glass! Opalite is also known by many other names, including Sea Opal, Opal Quartz, Opal Moonstone and Argenon but again, it is simply man-made glass. Use this popular material in your next project for a truely beautiful design!
These smooth heart beads measure 10mm in diameter by 4mm thick. The center-drilled holes measure about .5mm to 1mm. The strand is approximately 7" inches long and there are approximately Q20 beads on a strand.
