Our charm features a fun message that says "Flower Power". It would look lovely on a plain chain, but you can also bead around it for a truly one of a kind design. The charms are lightweight and make perfect earrings.
These charms have been painted by the Dry Gulch gals in our studio in the Ozarks area of Missouri. Adding life to handmade jewelry by painting plain metal components is one of our favorite things to do. Our hand painted pendants and components can take up to to 2 days to complete in our studio!
These charms are antique silver plated over a zinc based metal alloy and are lead and nickel free. They have been hand painted with metal-specific paints and patinas. No two pieces are ever exactly alike because of their hand painted nature. The back side has not been painted. These pieces have been gently distressed for a vintage look and sealed with glossy varnish. The varnish protects the color and imparts an enameled effect.
The charm is flat and smooth on the back and is about 1mm thick. The charm measures 22mm. The hole is 2mm. The photos in this listing include a ruler so you can see how big the dragonflies are. All photos have been taken outdoors in sunlight, but as always, computer and mobile screens display colors differently.
